Entry Level Accountant
Position Based Online, the software arm of Stark Drive is a major engineering and Manufacturing group with a reputation for building affordable transportation solutions for our clients. Due to a major expansion we have immediate need for a hands-on and talented Accountant to join our team.

Duties
This individual must work independently, communicate effectively with department personnel, and possess a strong understanding of account reconciliation concepts, general ledger balancing, and prepare accurate, timely invoices.
Typical responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Co-manage the day-to-day operations of Accounts Receivable
- Maintain billing files and database
- Reconcile expenses, revenues, receivables, and unbilled amounts to the financial reports
- Create billing invoice and support from source documentation, with sufficient information to demonstrate the nature of the expense
- Research and correct any discrepancies or errors
- Create invoices and update the billing log
- Update files, databases, and subsidiary ledgers
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in accounting. Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel.
Substitutions
A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university which included 27 semester hours of accounting or auditing coursework may substitute for the required education. A master's degree in accounting or MBA with an emphasis in accounting or a doctorate degree in accounting from an accredited college or university may substitute for the bachelor's degree. A CPA may substitute for the bachelor's degree. Full-time professional accounting experience may substitute for the bachelor's degree in accounting on a year-for-year basis.

Preferred Qualifications
The outstanding candidate will have experience with accounts receivable, experience in working with pivot tables, experience working within strict reporting requirements, experience using Access, and demonstrated attention to detail.
